Born 17th September 1973, Steve Bode Ekundayo hails from Ibillo in Edo State, Nigeria. He joined University of Benin in September 2009. Before that, he was General Manager Silva Hill Technical Nig Ltd. He has also worked as a politician, publisher, journalist, school teacher, AIDS activist, human rights activist and public relations officer.
Mr Ekundayo has published in several academic journals, and as a creative writer, has written a play, a collection of poetry and two novels. He has published 22 books on English, Literature in English, motivation and counselling, sex awareness and family planning.
He is a member of Nigeria Semiotic Studies Association, Association of Nigerian Authors, Nigerian English Studies Association and English Language Teaching Association of Nigeria. He is currently carrying on PhD research on Educated Nigerian English.
