UniBen Bags Laurels From The Nigerian Universities Research & Development Fair 2012

We have come home from the Nigerian Universities Research & Development Fair (NURESDEF) 2012 with some air of pride, bringing along splendid laurels and gilded plagues to adorn the University's showcase. R&D outputs on display were for the purpose of assessment, clustered into three categories according to academic discipline. These include Arts and Humanities, Life Science and Medicine, Agriculture, as well as Physical Science and Technology.

The National Centre for Energy and Environment (NCEE), an agency of the Energy Commission of Nigeria was established on 12th March 2009 through the accent of the 2009 appropriation bill by the late President and Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Umaru Musa Yar’adua, GCFR. This bill provided the legislative provision for the establishment of the Centre which is currently located at the University of Benin, Benin City.
