The role of a lawyer in the Commonwealth is of particular importance for several reasons. Firstly, member countries of this body command a significant proportion of the world’s population, territory and resources. Consequently, law schools in the commonwealth bear a special onus to contribute to the production of lawyers in the new millennium.
