The Phytoplankton: Water Pollution in Nigeria, Pollution of Warri River at Opete

Analysis of three to five minutes qualitative plankton hauls of Opete waters on 9th  December 2000 revealed only thirteen (13) taxa consisting of only seven (7) Bacillariophyta (of 113-124)  known species and three (3) Cyanophyta (of 29/30 known species).
