OPHTHALMIC SURGICAL PROCEDURES AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BENIN TEACHING HOSPTIAL

A retrospective study of all ophthalmic surgical procedures done at he ophthalmology department of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital was carried out in order to determine the frequency and pattern of the various ophthalmic surgical procedures with particular reference to surgery for cataract and glaucoma, the two leading causes of bilateral blindness.
