GRADUATES RATING OF STUDY PROVISIONS AND CONDITIONS IN THE UNIVERSITY OF BENIN, 1980 M 1995
University of Benin is as one of the most popularly sought for by candidates. With few faculties and departments at its inception in 1972, there are today eleven (11) faculties, fifty seven (57) departments and five (5) institutes. There is therefore the need to assess the provisions and conditions in the institution. Such an assessment would be necessary for many institutional and curricular decisions in the next decade. Consequently, a retrospective assessment of study provisions and conditions in the universitv was made using graduates from 1980 to 1995. Nine
hundred and thirty-two (932) graduates participated in the study.
