This study compared the estimated Maximal Oxygen Uptake (Max VO2)capacities of visually-impaired and sighted subjects. The investigation was necessary because of the pausity of literature on the Max VO2 levels of Nigerian
Visually-Impaired subjects; as affected by their life-styles. Ten male sighted and five male visually-impaired students of the Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo and five Hausa Visually-impaired beggars from Oyo town made
up the subjects of the study.
